Eden Hazard has made a scintillating start to the Premier League season under Maurizio Sarri despite his participation in the World Cup in the summer.

The 27-year-old Hazard has already scored seven goals in eight Premier League games this season and transformed Chelsea FC into title challengers.

The Belgian forward was linked with a move to Real Madrid in the summer but a deal failed to materialize despite Cristiano Ronaldo moving to Serie A in August.

Former Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon says Chelsea FC shouldn’t force Hazard to remain at Stamford Bridge.

“There is no point having a player with you if he doesn’t want,” Calderon told beIN SPORTS, as quoted by the Daily Express.

“Slavery was abolished a long time ago.”

The Blues will welcome Manchester United in their next Premier League fixture at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon in pursuit of a seventh top-flight victory this season.
